(01) ABOUT:
On every family video you can hear my little voice in the background asking my mom for the camera. Every time she got ready to record something my sisters and I were doing, I wanted to be a part of it. I loved being creative without knowing that’s what it was. I was drawn to it in a natural, intrinsic way.
Fast forward a few decades and I’m that same girl who wants to get behind the camera and tell the story. Except this time, I know why I’m doing it and where I’m going. As a kid I loved being creative but didn’t know how I could make it as a career. After pouring over finances for a big business, I felt this yearning for MORE. That’s when I jumped into telling wedding stories through photo and video.
(02) MY APPROACH:
Weddings are full of some of life’s best moments. Whether you’re there as a guest or a part of the wedding party, it’s a day everyone looks forward to. When life is this good, who needs posed shots to make the wedding photos look like you? When people are free to be themselves, I get to capture the best of them. I shoot a mix of film and digital on your wedding day. My focus is on the emotion that's naturally unfolding in front of me. There's a TON of it, so why step in and change that?
I bring a calm and relaxed energy to your day, allowing you to soak in every moment and be present. Don't want to spend an hour taking romantic photos and would rather hang with your guests at cocktail hour? Let's do that! Would you rather sneak away from the busyness for 30 mins and grab a drink at your favorite bar down the street? I'm down!
When you look back on your photos or video, it’ll feel real again and it'll feel like you. Like you're right back in that moment, a true and accurate account of what happened. You won't see anything fabricated for the sake of the shot, because the GOOD STUFF is already right there in front of us. It's YOU, it's your unique love story, family story, coming together story - all the people that mean the most to you in one place at the same time.
